School Based Traineeships

Milford Lodge is a proud partner of many local schools through their School Based Traineeships. We are the training ground for five senior high school students at any time. Our trainees are interviewed and offered trials prior to selection. During their time with us, the students are paid employees who gain practical experience through working alongside our highly qualified and experienced team, whilst also being supported by our preferred RTO (Registered Training Organisation) 
Kath Dickson Institute.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

At the completion of their Traineeship, these students gain their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, which is also recognised on their QCE.

We have past students who are now working with us full time and well into their Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care.

Certificate II in Kitchen Operations

We are very excited to be extending our School Based Traineeships into the world of Hospitality.

Our chefs Larisa McIntyre  & Steve Tribe are also very excited to be able to mentor at Milford Lodge.

We are currently looking for two students who would like to complete their Certificate II in Kitchen Operations during their senior high school years.
